Donald Trump Slams Gun Control in Sunday-Morning Tweets Following More UK Terror

President Donald Trump uses Twitter often — but on weekends in particular, he has developed quite a reputation for using the platform to speak his mind with very little filtering.

And on June 4, still just hours after terrorists attacked London Bridge in a manner very reminiscent to the recent attack on Westminster bridge (the weapons used were a vehicle and knives), the president did not disappoint.

He began with a general statement that reflected much of what he said throughout the campaign:

He pointed out what he believed to be the wrong response to such an action:

And then he pivoted to gun control, another controversial issue:

Trump appeared to be making the point that many others have: terrorists, if their primary goal is to kill people, will find a way to do so even if they don’t have access to firearms.

Regardless, never a dull Sunday morning around here.
